Address: Fresh water bay area, right besides Cabañas Agua Dulce Hotel.

Directions from the airport

In any motor vehicle the Blue Almond is about 15-20 minutes from the airport, we don't recommend walking as it would take too long. Here are a few options that you can take if you are planning on staying with us

-A taxi from the airport/dock should charge you $23.000 COP, the best way to save money on this trip is to talk to fellow travelers on the plane/catamaran and ask them if they are going to Agua Dulce, Cab drivers don't like when you car pool and will charge more if you ask them to make a stop in other hotel than the originally agreed.

-A bus cost $2.500 and runs every 60 minutes, ask the driver to stop at Cabañas Agua Dulce, this bus is very unreliable and rarely runs.

-Although We don't recommend this type of transportation a moto-taxi should charge you $3.000. Keep in mind that you won't find any mototaxis at the airport as cab drivers won't let them pick people up, you however will find some at the dock when the catamaran arrives, remember to always agree the price before getting on any means of transportation.

-Walk or hitchhike. If you are feeling adventorous and have a tight budget you can always walk to the hostel and try hitchhiking along the way, girls generally have no problem getting picked up by guys on motorcycles, please  be aware that you will be getting hit on all the way!. If you are not lucky enough to get picked up this walk should take you about an hour with an average size backpack.

-Renting a scooter. I you arrive to Providencia in the catamaran there are 3 rental places about 50 meters from the dock, my favourite one is the one from the hardware store, the scooters are well mantained, fairly new and the prices are fair ranging from $50.000 COP/day.
